Q. What is a Zine?
A. A fanzine (portmanteau of "fan" and "magazine") is a non-profit, self published and independently distributed project, usually featuring a collection of artists, writers, and moderators as a collaborative piece of workQ. How much will the zine cost?
A. The zine will be digital only and completely free! It will be available to download as a PDF once we publish it!Q. Will contributors be compensated?
A. No, as this is purely a free non-profit zine!Q. How will this song-zine work?
A. Each contribution will have a Spotify code to enjoy the piece in its fullest. If the song is unavailable on Spotfiy, we will also have Youtube as an alternate source.Q. What kind of songs are allowed?
A. Any song in any language is allowed as long as it is available on Spotify and Youtube! We will screen the submitted songs to ensure nothing offensive is included.Q. Is this a Xavier-only zine? What about the other Love Interests?
A. Yes. For now we are only doing a Xavier-centric zine, but if there's enough interest for the other love interests, we would love to make more in the future for each of them!Q. Am I allowed to include my MC?
A. It is optional, you are more than welcome to include your MC, or the default MC, but the main focus should be on Xavier and how he relates to the song you have picked.Q. How many contributors will you be accepting?
A. We are planning for the song playlist to be a maximum of 2 hours, and estimate about 30 songs can fit in that time frame. Based on that, we plan for 31 contributors: 20 artists, 10 writers and one cover artist. Also the 3 mods will be joining in (because we love Xavier too!) Therefore, the actual total contributors on board will be 34!Q. Do I need zine experience to apply?
A. Nope! If you would like more guidance with the application process, feel free to reach out to our social medias or send an anonymous question through the google forms Q&A section.Q. What is a pinch hitter?
A. A pinch hitter acts as a reserve member. If a contributor drops out of the zine, we would contact pinch hitters to ask if they are interested in filling in for the empty slot!Q. Will NSFW works be included?
A. Not this time, sorry!Q. Can I post my work for my own account after the zine's release ?
A. Yes of course, as long as you include a link to the zine!Q. Is there a possibility this could be a paid thing?
A. Nope, we decided this will be a free zine as this is the Mods first time hosting a zine! We'd like to take it easy for now. But if there's interest for future zines then we'll consider it!Q. Are soundtracks/ost allowed?
A. Yes! As long as its on Spotify and YoutubeQ. Can writers only submit fanfics/AU for their samples or can they submit poetry?
A. We have a preference for fanfics but we welcome poetry for samples and for your contribution in the zine for any writers that will be accepted on to the project!Q. Can I change my song choices if I am accepted as a contributor?
